Eagle Lectern FTW !!

I love my Eagle Lectern! With it I can make tele-tabs using runes and soft clay. The best ones to make are home tele's, because they only take up one inventory space, act instantly and transport me to my house which has portals to almost anywhere!
If you really tried to pin me down, I think I'd say construction is the most important skill, but since high construction requires high levels in other skills it's a bit of a simplistic view. A house is so much more that just getting around runescape. Cooking supplies, workshops to repair barrows and an infinite supply of tools, and places to put half a million things from your bank - giving you much more space.
My house is currently in Rimmington. It's close to Pest Control and soft clay for teletabs. It won't stay there always, as I tend to move my house around if it suits a skill I'm working on.
Dogs

I know hunting dogs is not very sporting, but it does feel good :P
I got about 30 of them for slayer after I chickened out of 29 iron dragons...
Today I've also done Banshees, and I'm just off to slice up some cave slime. Note to self: Don't forget the anti-poison this time!!
They don't drop much. But they're easy to kill.
Like hell I will! Let's go get something else...

Fight Cave

I had a go at getting myself a fire cape. Just 3 seconds after this pic was taken, Jad one-hit me and killed me with range attack...
I had a great time though. I didn't have anywhere near the amount of problems I usually have with the 360's. I often sufferred pretty badly between waves 43 and 50 or so. This time I concentrated more on lining the monsters up behind each other and picking them off.
My inventory at the start was 8 sara brews, which were just enough, and about 10 super restores and the rest prayer pots. I had two crystal bows; the lead-up to Jad uses 7/10's of a bow, and I like a nice fresh one for the harder waves, like when you get a 360 a couple of 90s.
I've got my treasured Zammy Cloak (+3 prayer) and I used Neitznot helm and unholy symbol for the same reason, as well as Veracs skirt. Karils top to top it all off. My prayer drains so slowly that I sometimes forget to drink pots!
Most players say they get owned by Jad the first time they face him. Looks like I'm no different. I started with protect from mage, and he hit me 84 with range. KO. I never even saw him...
I'm not disheartened. I actually enjoy ranging the monsters leading up to Jad. Just gotta save some cash for some more sara brews and super restores. Oh, and a recharge on a bow - 180k for me these days.

One skill down, one to go
Can't stay away from Pest Control. I think I'm addicted...

I've popped into Pest Control to knock over about 150 pc points. This will give me a prayer level and a range level.
I was overwhelmed with my welcome when I joined #hq - all the staff jumped on me and smothered me with hugs!
I'll have to track down Sammo now and let him know that the opinion expressed by that one member was NOT opinion of the channel admin team!
You know it makes a person feel good to find that you were backed by your respected peers even though they hadn't heard from me, or what had happened. They just accepted my decision and backed it without question. when you get to work with a team of such a calibre 'tis a grand feeling indeed. (I'd better make sure I keep some quality worlds posted before I'm sacked...)

I (don't) like Aeroplane Jelly...

These cube like Jellies are my next task. They do more damage through dragonhide so I'm wearing armour. They're to be found in the fremmy slayer cave.
They chip away at me, slowly dropping my hitpoints until I have to eat. It's not sustainable combat, but it's so close that it doesn't really matter.
This is my haul from the first load of lobbies (about 10). I'm not very impressed with jellies...
Couldn't stand it anymore. I changed tasks and got cave slime, quickly taken care of :)

The gods of Treasure Trails hates me.
Next task, 20,000 kalphites...
Those kalphite workers sure are dumb. At least it doesn't take much concentration to kill them. They don't seem to be doing me any damage, so the food I brought with me is pretty useless space. Still, the monsters are only dropping coins and waterskins, and only small quantities of the former, and larger quantities of the later!
The Never Ending Story
These bloodvelds are taking forever! I've used about 6/10's of a bow on them, and I still have 59 to go...It's time to get ruthless and start hacking them up for some strength xp. The nooby elemental shield helps defend from their magic based attack.
My prayer and range are within about 100 Pest Control points each now, so after I've finished this slayer task I'm off to pc.
